If the Quran was so clear about wearing hijab, why did muslims only start wearing after the Wahabi movement? in the 60s, hardly any muslims wore hijab. in 70s more and more started wearing it. But as far as i know, these were rules implemented by conservative Salafi hardliners, with no basis in the Quran just like many other fatwas. If you point to surah 24;30 of the Quran, it doesn't tell you to wear a scarf over your head. Muslims misinterpret the word khimar and say it means headcover whenit doesn't. They also try lnk it with hadith, but standing on its own this verse simply tells you to cover your chest. You are so good at being a liar, why do you not claim also to be Muslim like the others who say they love others but are only telling lies?
